had the chance to visit tulsa, oklahoma and it is a cool little town. they have all these cute little districts in the downtown area. we stumbled upon the cherry street farmers market in the cherry street district. check out this taco shop in a van/sleeper thing. i called it a winnebago...but i got laughed at a lot! evidently it's NOT a winnebago. well all i know is i want to sell popcorn out of it. LOVE this van/sleeper/winnebago thingie :)
the produce and flowers were all so gorgeous. i love that they support oklahoma farmers and that farmers markets are still thriving in america.
the blue dome district was just so funky and cool... 'keep tulsa weird' kept bouncing around in my head.
we chowed down on some pretty dang good bbq at Rib Crib Blue Dome. the brisket was juicy and the sausage spicy! yum yum yum.
next stop was near the Cox Business center and the BOK center... PINKITZEL. such a cute cupcake & candy shop. maybe i should send them some popcorn balls to add to their yummy collection of confections and candy.
they host birthday parties too! i can see crave and pinitzel combining ideas one day. i left feeling full and happy and mostly INSPIRED!
good-bye, tulsa. we will be back to cruise your route 66 again real soon :)
